The Munich-based artist and designer Ellen Schoen fascinates with a unique artistic style that interweaves cultures, fashion and history in exciting and unexpected ways. Her large-format acrylic works are influenced by her travels, especially to Southeast Asia, and consciously focus on the people and stories she encounters. With every brushstroke, she invites viewers to see the world through her eyes - full of details, new perspectives and emotional depth.

In addition to her impressive canvases, the 27-year-old has developed a passion for digital art in the pop art style. Her graphic works celebrate the beauty and energy of the female body - detached from stereotypes or sexual attributions. Ellen Schoen manages to combine feminine expression with playful lightness and profound meaning, while at the same time inviting us into dreamy, almost surreal worlds.

Her works embody cosmopolitanism, courage and the power to tell stories that often go unheard. Ellen Schoen not only creates art, but also encounters – between cultures, emotions and the essence of the feminine

ELLEN SCHOEN had her first solo exhibition in 2021. This year she was presenting her works again in a joint exhibition with the artist Stefanie Schwangler in Munich.
